Qu remains fully operational on the terminal in the event of an internet outage. For our Worldpay customers credit cards can be processed offline and checks may be closed. Orders may be sent to the kitchen and sharing checks between terminals will not be affected so long as there is no impact to the local network. However, it’s important to note that checks will be queued locally on the terminals until internet service is restored. Once internet connectivity is re-established checks will post to the Qu cloud and will be visible in Qu Reports.
