How do I Prevent Online Customers from Adding Special Instructions?

Occasionally, restaurants want to prevent their customers from adding special instructions to their order while ordering online. To remove special instructions:

  1. Log in to Enterprise Intelligence at
  2. Click on Store Group in the left panel.
  3. Select a store group from the list.
  4. Click platform settings.
  5. Click Include Settings.
  6. Find Special Instructions Settings in the list by entering it in the Filter by Title textbox.
  7. Click the mceclip0.pngbutton.
  8. In the window that opens, you can disable item level or check level special instructions. Click the mceclip1.pngbutton next to the relevant setting to disable it.
  9. Click Save.


If you would like to change the hint text as opposed to disabling the setting, enter the desired text into the Hint Text textbox
